Thailand Travel Kit: Huts, Trip Itineraries, and Tips for the Budget or Upscale Tourist by a Thailand Insider who has lived in Thailand for 8 years by Jack B. Wily ... see you in Thailand ...
a funny thing about the huts. on either side are hotels that charge six thousand baht a night. i paid nine for a month... and i mean i have some amenities. the ocean is thirty feet from the door. i am on the sand. i have a big bed and a fan and a bathroom and shower. i have a restaurant.
the hotels have hot water... it's 95 degrees outside and the shower in my room is warm already. some of the huts have air conditioning for a bit more mula, but i just swim when i'm warm. i buy beer at the seven. sometimes i hear tourists outside the hotels saying they don't need the amenities... the beach is already paradise... they move out. others i guess are scared cuz its a foreign country and they imagine being mugged if they walk outside... some countries are like that, i see.
in fact, i am about ready for a swim. got up at 4:30 and started this queer internet stuff.
