If your thinking of Samui, there is something you should know. The Thais call it ripoff island. I mean a lot of Thais don't have a lot of money-they spot a ripoff when they see it. I have seen breakfast for two and half times the cost on other islands. The place isn't really ideal for the budget tourist. But if you stay a while (or pay me for consultation. smile) it is possible to buy a fruit shake for a dollar. Twice that if the pirates get you. The food scene may always be a bit more expensive here, but there are places for a buck and a half a meal. Just don't eat in the touristic places- i saw fries for the cost of a buffet breakfast on Elephant Island. As far as the chics go it is sort of the same show. If you want it you mise well pay cash and carry and get it over with. A Thai chick of the class that will have relations is going to get cash one way or the other and paying 1200 baht for sex is much better than paying 15,000 baht a month to a chick you get involved with-and they will ask. Sex is a commodity for this class of Thai-okay, it is a commodity for lots of women. But not one woman in Japan in twenty years even considered asking for money. I am fed up with that scene. I can wait or i can meet girls of another nationality, but i ain't a gonna pay a girl for sex. I mean maybe if i am really desperate it will be a one time thing. But that's it. The last time i checked girls were capable of enjoying sex. So why is it me that is going to pay. NOTE: I charge 500 baht.
