I US one country or not...
i say a flat tax rate of ten percent for everyone. you make a dollar in a year you pay ten cents. you make a hundred million, you pay one million. a very fair tax.
i say stop pouring money into poverty because it has never worked. there is a basic human instinct- a person doesn't want to die. when they don't have money they work. that job at mcdonald's looks pretty good when your hungry. any job looks good when your hungry.
why- here is why i say stop giving away money- there are a lot of poor people who are now rich. they didn't get rich because of free money. they got rich because one day they went out and bought ten dollars worth of bananas and sold them for twenty and the next day they went out and bought twenty dollars worth of bananas and sold them for forty bucks. they used there brains and they were motivated because they liked money. take away that basic motivation and a lot of people won't try to do anything and no one can blame them. there stomachs are full. in effect, the gov is paying people to remain poor.
okay-point out a case where someone gets a handout and then succeeds. that's nice, but i can point out millions of cases where someone gets money and doesn't. ...
